Robotics
A machine that runs day and night needs the right material, the right clamping and the right tool at every moment. With us nobody has to stand at the machine for that. Robots travel on a rail along the machines and do that work themselves, order after order.
Three things the robot does
Parts
The robot picks up the material, puts it in the machine and takes the finished part out again. On the milling line that goes per pallet, in the turn-mill cell straight into the chuck.
Workholding
Every part asks for its own clamping, and that differs per side of the factory.
On the milling side: pre-loaded vices. The material is clamped in a vice beforehand. The vices stand ready, loaded, and the robot puts them in the machine with the material in them.
On the turning side: jaw changes. The chuck jaws are kept in a storage next to the machine and the robot changes them on the chuck itself. Soft jaws are turned out fully automatically, exactly to the size of the part.
Tools
The tools have a storage of their own at the machines as well. Every tool is measured beforehand on the presetter, and the program in the machine is corrected for it.
Day and night
A robot knows no shifts. What is planned during the day simply runs on at night and in the weekend. That is how your order reaches you fast.
The same every time
The robot clamps and changes in the same way every time. In the machine, touch probes measure afterwards. Read more about our quality.
Restocked in time
Our systems are linked to those of our suppliers. Material and tools are delivered just in time. Worn tools become new metal.
