Delivery specifications

RODIN machining wants to make the customer as satisfied as possible. And you can help us with this! It is important that the files you upload with us or send by e-mail meet our design requirements and guidelines. This way you prevent error messages from occurring or that a delivered product does not meet your expectations.

Every order is checked as much as possible by the sellers and the work planners. This reduces the risk of orders going into production that we cannot produce. If this is the case, you will receive a manufacturability analysis for production, including change proposals.

What do you send us?

STEP: your 3D model

Always needed. From it we calculate your price and make your product.

  • Scale 1:1
  • Unit of measurement in mm
  • Nominal dimensions
  • A single part or an assembly
  • With PMI, if available

PDF: your 2D drawing

Needed to guarantee your tolerances.

  • Drawing with tolerances
  • Can be added per order line
  • No PDF? Then the general tolerances of ISO 2768 apply

  • Makes a drawing simpler: not every dimension needs a tolerance
